For couples under 30, technology is a constant companion. Almost half of the couples recently polled by Pew said the internet has influenced their relationships in good and bad ways. Young people in relationships squabble about cell-phone-related distractions, or because of something their partner did online. But they also rely on the same devices to make up. Technology, then, is the modern couple’s annoying third wheel.
