Bridal fashion week came to an end Wednesday night, capping off a season devoted to the modern bride who wants anything but the poufy white dress. Think: capes, detachable skirts, and slinky slips. Houghton showed T-shirts paired with tulle skirts, Delphine Manivet paired easy separates with chic flats, and even the venerable Vera Wang dared to include Doc Martens with deconstructed dresses. On the flip side, there were still plenty of options for the traditional bride, especially if she happened to be a fan of Amal Clooney’s off-the-shoulder Oscar de la Renta number. Click ahead to see all of these and more of our favorite gowns of the season.
