Yesterday, Kate Middleton continued boldly on her quest to prove once and for all that she has her finger on the sartorial pulse. Displaying an irrefutable, if somewhat ambitious, knowledge of trends from the past five years, she attended Place2Be’s Wellbeing in Schools Awards at Kensington Palace wearing peplum, polka dots, and sheer, all at once. She finished off the fashion-forward look with a classic Jenny Packham midnight-blue skirt, which, perhaps in compromise with the Queen, revealed exactly half of her knees.
