Like Kate Moss and a panoply of celebrities before her, Cara Delevingne is now the guest editor of a magazine. After four appearances on the cover of LOVE, she’s taking her place on the masthead for the latest issue, on newsstands February 9. She even got a contributor’s photo shot by Sølve Sundsbø, above left. In a press release, the model sounded like she was enjoying her new gig: “Normally I’m the one being asked the questions, but I loved the experience of being on the other side — asking the questions and having more directive control.”
Delevingne has also been named a contributing editor at the magazine, joining fellow catwalk refugee Edie Campbell, who already holds the position. As though journalism jobs weren’t thin on the ground as it is, now models are coming for the few remaining ones. Just terrific news for anyone who went to j-school.
