The 3 Things I Want to Wear From Fashion Week So Far

Fashion month usually brings over-the-top looks and accessories designed with fashion editorials in mind. But through all of it, we have to ask ourselves: What would we want to wear? Every day, the Cut brings you editors’ picks — items from the runways they’d actually buy.

1. Stuart Vevers at Coach knows how to bring strong outerwear. Models sported oversize shearling vests, wooly toggle coats, and cult-worthy leather motorcycle jackets (the best were the ones decked with pins, grungy “pieces of flair”). Sold.

2. Protagonist’s first runway show had chunky open-weave sweaters layered over bias-cut silky dresses and sleek duster coats. A seemingly simple black coat, nipped at the waist, was cut so lean it hinted toward what’s underneath. It also doesn’t hurt that the stylist is the perpetually chic Vanessa Traina.

3. While Frame Denim launched as a denim brand, the line is now fully realized with silk blouses and blazers alongside the flared denim. But a supple suede trench will be a hit next fall when you’ll want to channel the ‘70s.
