Yesterday, cold-weather veteran Sarah Jessica Parker bravely ventured out into the slushy abyss to walk her daughters to school. In the face of the ongoing L.L. Bean boot shortage, she refused to be yet another ill-equipped statistic, and donned a pair of green, lace-up Ilse Jacobsen Hornbaek wellies and knee-high fleece socks for the icy trek. Taking a cue from some other glacial globetrotters, SJP threw on a black parka and fearlessly confronted some of the city’s more treacherous realities, deftly scaling sidewalk snowbanks and plowing through foreboding puddles.
