This week kicked off with the biggest, most-hyped party of the year: Anna Wintour’s Met Ball, a China-themed shindig where all eyes were on Rihanna. Though Kim Kardashian complained about having trouble waking up for her book signing the next morning, no one else seemed to have any trouble recuperating. On Tuesday, Diane Von Furstenberg, Heidi Klum, and Jaime King turned out for Hearst’s 15-year anniversary party for Elle editor-in-chief Robbie Myers, while across town, Petra Collins and Jennifer Fisher helped Kate Young celebrate the launch of her new line for Tura Eyewear. On Wednesday, Christy Turlington and Rebecca Minkoff threw a party in honor of Every Mother Counts, and Amy Poehler made an appearance at the Shield Institute’s Somoza Palooza. Last night, Drake celebrated his art-show collaboration “I Like It Like This” at Sotheby’s, while earlier in the week, Solange, Dustin Yellin, and Lauren Santo Domingo hung out at Pioneer Works for the second annual village fete.
