More women than ever have added “watching porn” to their list of favorite hobbies, according to new PornHub numbers crunched for Mic. Twenty-four percent of PornHub’s millennial users are women, compared to 21 percent of older users. We’ll just assume most people accessing PornHub are lying about their gender, because 24 percent actually seems pretty low.
The Mic study found other interesting porn-related factoids: 60 percent of millennials are apparently watching porn on their phones, which, like … why? Meanwhile, Mondays are the most popular day to consume porn, and “lesbian” is the most popular category, so there’s another explanation for the cultural staying power of Orange Is the New Black.
