A Vintage-Inspired Dress by a Street-Style Star

When it comes to hunting down the best vintage pieces, Golden Peacock and Cut favorite JJ Martin is one of the best. She wears them beautifully and sells the coolest finds on her site La Double J. So it’s only natural that her latest project involves archival prints from the Montero, one of the oldest and most unique textile archives in world. Using reissued fabrics that date anywhere from the 1910s to the 1980s, she created a line of eight T-shirt-style maxi dresses in collaboration with Matches Fashion. Made from silk, they feature a round neck, short sleeves, and a silhouette that skims and flatters the body. You could easily wear them now, in the warm, early days of fall, with a pair of flat sandals and when it starts to get chilly, slip a turtleneck under and add boots.
