This past weekend, James Franco celebrated his bar mitzvah in L.A. as a benefit for the Alzheimer’s Association. As Franco is not a 12-year-old boy, he did away with the usual “Cha Cha Slide”–playing DJ and hired Miley Cyrus as the night’s performer. A picture of enthusiasm, Cyrus showed up wearing a giant Jewish star, plus a sparkly thong leotard and boots in the traditional colors of blue and silver. Going above and beyond a simple verbal “mazel tov,” she got the message across with a gold cape emblazoned with the phrase “SHALOM Y’ALL.”
