It may be the season of celebrity breakups, but US Weekly regulars aren’t the only people announcing their splits. Designers certainly aren’t immune. The Business of Fashion is reporting that David Neville, who co-founded Rag & Bone 14 years ago with Marcus Wainwright, is leaving his day-to-day role at the company. Wainwright will now be the sole CEO, per the report, and Neville will remain as a shareholder and retain his spot on the board of directors.
Neville will be involved with the launch of his makeup-artist wife Gucci Westman’s beauty brand, and, he told BOF, may be looking to become a fashion mogul of sorts. “I’m looking at investing in some fashion brands in the same way Andrew [Rosen] did with us all those years ago,” he said.
