There’s always a bit of suspense in finding out who Marc Jacobs will cast in his campaigns — take Spring 2016, which starred Pat Cleveland, Beth Ditto, Bette Midler, and Lana Wachowski. And now, for Fall 2016,  Missy Elliott and Sissy Spacek will be two of the new faces of Marc Jacobs.

“In a continuing series of portraits for our Fall 2016 ad campaign, the individuals in these photographs represent a collective embodiment of love, honesty, integrity, courage, strength, curiosity and inspiration. Together, as one story, this collection is a reminder to question and challenge normal and to continue exploring and pushing boundaries,” Jacobs wrote on Instagram.

The image of Missy is as — Jacobs says — obviously “supa dupa fly,” and it proves that even though she dropped her first music video in almost a decade last November, she’s still got it. She’s always been on the cutting edge when it comes to fashion, rocking the biggest hoops and the craziest outfits around, unconcerned with looking like a status-quo artist. In the Instagram post, Jacobs agreed: “Missy’s music has kept me and my design team happily energized through countless weekdays, weeknights and weekends during those long hours of sketching, fitting, styling and doing looks … I am in continued awe of Missy’s ability to push the boundaries of the style of music both to the eye and to the ear.”
