Taking Care of Business: A week devoted to taking our professional lives up a notch.

Kristina Budelis, one of the co-founders of KitSplit, a rental marketplace for cameras and related equipment, says she couldn’t have done it without her two other co-founders, Lisbeth Kaufman and Ken Amarit. “Find a co-founder — or if not a co-founder, a close adviser or mentor — who is excited about the idea and can be a sounding board,” she says about launching a company. “There are so many tough decisions and tough moments when you start a business that it’s important to have a support system to get advice from, or just to vent to.”
