We’ve already been coveting the ‘Lady Dior’ for quite some time, but now that the brand has introduced a collaboration with seven different artists, the iconic handbag has moved to the top of our must-have list.
The house of Dior asked seven artists to use the ‘Lady Dior’ model as a starting point for their own creations, which will be released at Art Basel Miami as part of a limited-edition Dior Lady Art collection. Collaborators include Ian Davenport, Mat Collishaw, Jason Martin, Marc Quinn, Daniel Gordon, Chris Martin, and Matthew Porter. Each artist put his own personal touches on the ladylike signature from the brand, with details like monochrome metallics, photography, and surreal prints.
The bags are priced between $3,500 and $6,000 and are being showcased not only as accessories, but as ways people can collect fashion as art. Scroll down below to see the designs that will be part of the Art Basel Miami pop-up installation in December.
