Lady Gaga got understandably emotional during her interview on CBS Sunday Morning when talking about her new album, her loss of privacy, and yeah, heartbreak. The Bad Romance singer didn’t directly discuss her breakup with fiancé Taylor Kinney earlier this year, but she didn’t shy away from addressing the trials and tribulations of romantic relationships.
“I think women love very hard. We love men. We just love with everything we have. And sometimes I don’t know that that love is met with, um, the type of dignity that we wish it would be met with. You know, we’re not trying to make you less of a man,” she said with a little smile. “We just want you to love us as deeply and as wholesomely and as fully as we love you.”
Yup, that’s definitely a hypothetical “you” she’s talking about.
