31 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Madewell to Sunday Riley

You may have noticed some posts from our friends at the Strategist on the Cut. They’ll be dropping in every now and again, sharing their expertise on the basics you don’t have time to research and the weird and wonderful things you don’t yet know you need.

In this week’s roundup of the best deals around the internet, we’ve found some heavily discounted Filson, a whole bunch of goodies from Saks’ Friends and Family sale, a highly giftable umbrella, and some $2 washcloths.

Filson bags are rarely this discounted. If you’re a backpack guy, you’ll appreciate the laptop sleeve. Also it’s available in tan.

It’s still expensive, but it’s kind of unheard of to see a classic Filson duffel for 46 percent off.

Levi’s famous butt-flattering (and stretchy) Wedgie jeans in a cropped, straight-legged style.

These’d look great with the Levi’s above.

Everlane’s Choose What You Pay section has become a great place to find last year’s fall/winter wares for up to 40 percent off — like this speckled cashmere crewneck sweater.

There are lots of deals to be had at Saks’ Friends and Family sale, so we’re going to take this opportunity to call out a few gems. This Eileen Fisher tunic is great for days when you can’t decide whether you want to wear a shirt or a dress but want to look professional and/or “together.”

A supersoft sleep shirt from Eberjey. (As we noted earlier, the pajama set version of this is on sale too.)

And some supersoft Eberjey lounge pants.

You’ll fit right in at the Roy family Thanksgiving with this Barbour windbreaker.

This cotton (machine washable) throw is already reasonably priced for Sferra, so when on sale, it’s a downright steal.

We are madly in love with this Le Sportsac belt bag and may need to grab it for ourselves.

Speaking of Coach, this delightful denim miniskirt is half off, and would look great with some black tights. (Some Wolford tights, perhaps?)

A Paul Smith umbrella is a classic for a reason, and it’d make a nice gift for a gentlemanly type.

It’s about to be not-wanting-to-leave-the-house season, and you’ll want to not leave the house in style.

So many nice little touches: the faint red stitching, the keyhole neck, and the three-quarter length sleeves.

These Eileen Fisher cropped pants are made from a sustainably produced rib knit.

Just like with the Everlane sale, there’s stuff on sale at Need Supply left over from last winter, like this faux-fur cropped jacket.

Everything in Anthropologie’s sale section is an extra 30 percent off, which means this trench vest — which is also available in plus sizes — comes out to 59 percent off.

Urban Outfitters’ beauty sale is still going strong, so we wanted to just reiterate that Sunday Riley’s Good Genes is just $84 at the moment.

Just a classic crossbody bag from Michael Kors with a removable strap.

Macy’s is having a “lowest prices of the season” sale, which means that this 22-piece Pyrex set is an excellent deal, and each container ends up coming out to a little over $1 a pop.

Speaking of incredibly cheap things, these quick-drying Martha Stewart Collection washcloths are currently $2.

And these red wineglasses from Lenox are now a mere $4.50 each.

Over at Madewell, if you spend over $100, everything in your cart is 20 percent off, and if you go over $200, you’ll get 30 percent off. Which means now is the time to get this leopard-print slip dress that really would look great with a black turtleneck underneath it. And if you want to make it to $200 (to get an even bigger discount) might we suggest this corduroy skirt.

You can blend directly into the cup you’re gonna ultimately drink from with the NutriBullet.

For hiding away toys and/or dirty laundry.

A whole slew of items at The Outnet are an extra 30 percent off, so if you’ve been meaning to get a Hervé Léger Bandage dress … now would be a good time. This Hervé Léger pencil skirt is also a good deal.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
