• British women are getting over the “It” bag. They’re more likely to buy an $80 bag than a $2,000 bag and realize celebrity endorsements of the latter don’t mean much since they probably get them for free. [Times UK]

• Meanwhile, the “It” shoe has replaced the “It” bag. The right pair can make you look taller and leaner, while the most a bag can do is sit on a restaurant table. [Telegraph]
