• Highlights from this year’s couture shows kicking off in Paris today include Giorgio Armani’s 35th-anniversary show, John Galliano’s show for Christian Dior, Karl Lagerfeld’s show for Chanel, Alessandra Facchinetti’s couture debut for Valentino, and the debut of the first Chinese couturier to show in Paris.
