Designers took man bags to a whole new level at the men’s shows in Milan, where the offerings more closely resembled women’s purses than ever before. Take these clutches sported at Marni, Etro, and Salvatore Ferragamo. Marni’s looks like an upgraded business-portfolio case, Salvatore Ferragamo’s petite, hot-magenta version looks just large enough for essentials, and Etro’s fold-over beige sack was quite roomy, and even came with a shoulder strap. At least dudes now have a solution to pants that are so tight things like wallets, keys, cell phones, and man makeup can’t fit in the pockets. —Sharon Clott
