John Galliano to Launch Eyewear; Cindy Crawford’s Husband Gets Sued

John Galliano just signed a licensing deal for eyewear, effective September 2009. The collection will include men’s and women’s styles, including prescription frames. [WWD]

Cindy Crawford’s restaurateur husband, Rande Gerber, is being sued for $500,000 because he made an in-flight cocktail menu for Delta Airlines called Midnight Sky. He had signed a contract with his former employer Skybar (the L.A. bar he once managed) that he wouldn’t use the word “sky” in any of his future ventures. [British Vogue]
