A little news to whet your appetite for Topshop’s imminent Soho arrival: Jourdan Dunn and Karlie Kloss star in the brand’s fall campaign. So expect to see pictures of them plastered on the walls of the new Soho store. “Topshop on the move” is the all-too-appropriate theme of the ads, which were shot on London buses and tube trains. “We wanted the campaign to have a very London vibe, sticking to Topshop’s roots. And Topshop girls are movers and shakers — super-stylish, cool girls,” Topshop creative director Ronnie Cooke-Newhouse told the Daily Mail. Perhaps that explains why Dunn sports Amy Winehouse’s signature winged eyeliner. It looks ab fab on her, but we fear the look wouldn’t do everyone so many favors.
Dunn and Kloss have already made pretty big names for themselves, and the Topshop spot will only bolster their fame. Past Topshop models Lily Donaldson, Lily Cole, and Caroline Trentini have gone on to star in campaigns for Gucci, Prada, and Oscar de la Renta, respectively.
