Pucci is reportedly in talks with Paris-based designer Peter Dundas to replace Matthew Williamson as head designer (last month we learned Williamson will leave Pucci when his contract expires in the fall to focus on his own Matthew Williamson label). The Norwegian Dundas has designed for Emanuel Ungaro and currently designs for French furrier Revillon. He told WWD, “I’m very happy at Revillon,” but would not comment further. Pucci wouldn’t comment either. It was previously reported that Pucci was considering design assistants to replace Williamson, but perhaps an underdog won’t land the gig after all.
