• Cathy Horyn writes that Nicolas Ghesquiere included male models in his Balenciaga show wearing “stiff dark suits without lapels and flicker of gold at the nearly closed neckline. They were duds.” Ouch. [On The Runway]

• Irish singer-songwriter Roisin Murphy wore one of Gareth Pugh’s spring 2009 armor-like dresses to the Christian Dior show less than 48 hours after it debuted on Pugh’s runway. Damn, girl. [Grazia]

• Robin Givhan on sitting next to Lenny Kravitz at the Rick Owens show: “He introduced himself to me like a good gentleman and then snuggled in with his big ol’ fur vest spilling over into my lap.
