We love a good comeback story, and Iris Strubegger has a great one. In 2002 the Austrian model walked for Calvin Klein and became the face of Armani, but after less than two years in the business, Strubegger quit modeling to finish high school. Now 25, Strubegger’s hiatus hasn’t seemed to slow down her modeling career at all. Her mile-high cheekbones have recently been shot by Mario Testino for V, Steven Meisel for Italian Vogue, and Craig McDean for Pollini’s fall ad campaign. So all you hungry, 14-year-old models, take note: Hitting the books and the runways is possible.
