Even spending money on credit is an exercise of style for Roberto Cavalli. Come March 1, the designer will launch his own version of a Mastercard, “created for those who thrive upon excellence, elegance and quality,” offering cardholders special alerts for sales and invites to fashion shows. Cavalli boiled down his whole aesthetic into one little rectangle, complete with an iridescent snakeskin print and a golden crest emblazoned on the right.
