Chloë Sevigny’s New Unisex Line for Opening Ceremony Has ‘Gay Lumberjack’ Flavor

Chloë Sevigny unveiled her second collection for Opening Ceremony at London Fashion Week. This time she did something different, which the economy all but demands of every designer these days: a unisex line. She calls her 2009 offerings a “slight homage” to Miguel Adrover, one of her favorite designers, with notes of “gay lumberjack” and English punk. Prices range from $95 for a scarf to $945 for an overcoat. “There’s much less pressure doing men’s, and because this collection is unisex and oversized, I felt like I could have more fun,” Chloë told WWD. “Except for the trousers — getting the fit right was really difficult.” See the whole line and decide if she succeeded in the slideshow.
