Condé Nast recruited Katie Grand from Pop to helm its new Love magazine, which just hit stands. Grand (“self-taught, maverick and edgy”) isn’t your typical Condé Nast–er (“established, corporate and posh”), and she’s keeping her new bosses at arm’s length. She runs Love out of a new office separate from Condé Nast headquarters in the U.K. where British Vogue’s offices are. She also denied rumors that Anna Wintour is trying to keep her best contributors from jumping ship, joking, “I’m just keeping my head down!” [Times UK]
