When we saw White House social secretary Desirée Rogers accompanying the Bob to shows this week, we had to wonder what was up. Was this new chick now in Anna’s arm-candy rotation? What about Roger, or Sean?! According to to a White House aide, studly athletes need not worry — Rogers and Wintour aren’t besties, and MObama’s lady-in-waiting was here purely on business. “Desirée was in New York on a fact-finding mission,” says the aide. “She’s acting as a cultural liaison for the White House; she’s researching fashion and music.” Gotcha.
