Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman married Harvey Weinstein in 2007, but the couple only recently took a honeymoon. “Every day with me is a honeymoon,” Weinstein told us at the Accompanied Literary Society’s reading of The Mad Ones at the new J.Crew men’s store last night. We noted that Georgina had said the flight was the most relaxing part of the trip. “I think Georgina sells a lot of dresses as a result of her witty banter about me, so I’m not going to object,” Weinstein countered. What was her travel wardrobe like? “Traveling with Georgina — are you kidding me? That’s why you don’t want to go on a honeymoon — there are like seven bags filled with Marchesa dresses. You have to be Samson and Hercules to carry that stuff. She’s easy to travel with, but she has all those dresses because people expect her to wear a different dress all the time.” Oh woe is he.
