A Japanese Company Has Created a Swine-Flu-Defending Suit

Haruyama Trading Co. developed a suit for men that supposedly guards against swine flu. It goes on sale today for $580 and comes in a variety of shades. The suit’s swine-flu-protecting powers come by way of a titanium dioxide coating, a chemical commonly found in toothpaste and cosmetics that can break down and kill viruses. However, this anti-swine-flu power suit can only survive several washings before the titanium dioxide washes off. Even so, the suit fails to cover the mouth, nose, and eyes, which is how the swine flu infects a person in the first place. [StyleList]
