Elle finally got around to replacing Nina Garcia, who left her post as fashion director in April of last year and has since moved on to Marie Claire. Their new fashion director is Alexis Bryan Morgan, who will assume her new post in the new year. She is currently the executive fashion editor at Vanity Fair, with a sizable (seven pages!) photo gallery on Style.com. Looks like she only has a few more weeks to add to it! It raises an interesting question: What happens when editors jump ship to a competing publishing company? Do they delete her gallery or let it fester and let the world wonder what happened to her increasing embarrassment? Must be a pretty good gig at Elle to give all that up.
