Recession Fails to Thwart Impulse Clothing Purchases

In a recent survey by ShopSmart magazine, 60 percent of respondents confessed to buying something on a whim within the past year. Twenty-five percent of those said an item of apparel was their most recent impulse buy, while 14 percent cited food. The average price of respondents’ most recent impulse purchase was $108; 35 percent said they regretted an impulse buy made over the past twelve months. [AdWeek]
