Lisanne de Jong might look like the average blonde-haired, blue-eyed newbie that floods the industry season after season, but this rookie is to be taken seriously. After signing with Elite New York earlier this year, the statuesque Dutch teen hit all of casting director Russell Marsh’s spring shows in New York: BCBG Max Azria, Hervé Léger, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, and Max Azria. In Milan she was placed on exclusive for Prada, and then walked for Miu Miu and Balenciaga in Paris. Booking top runway shows is great, but booking campaigns is what sets a newcomer and rising star apart. And Lisanne has no shortage of those, having booked three major spring campaigns, working with Juergen Teller and Steven Meisel. Looks like we’ll be seeing a lot of this one.
