When Heidi Klum announced she was launching a “pervasive lifestyle collection,” we figured it would tie into Project Runway, the seventh season of which premieres on Lifetime next week. A little challenge for the contestants to try to create a piece for one of her maternity lines could be perfectly timed for next month’s launch. Yes, she has two maternity lines coming out February 12: one for Motherhood Maternity called “Loved,” and one for A Pea in the Pod called “Lavish.” But wait — isn’t “Lavish” a rather recession-unfriendly name? Klum, who has been pregnant four times, says she chose it “because there is no grander name to express everything you want to give yourself and the child growing within you.” And there is no grander maternity-belly scarf than whatever she has going on in this picture. That is surely the solution for uncomfortable pregnant women. Wrap up in a giant sheet and you’re good to go.
