Pamella Roland to Launch a Collection for QVC

After launching lines with Rachel Zoe and Isaac Mizrahi in 2009, QVC isn’t skimping on collaborations this year. The at-home shopping network has several more in the works — Pamella Roland, Thuy, and Christian Francis Roth (and we hear they are about to close two more deals soon) — which will all launch this February at New York Fashion Week. The channel is hosting its own fashion show at Bryant Park on Saturday, February 13 (take a moment to breathe that one in), where it will unveil Thuy’s By Thuy D, as well as new pieces from Rachel Zoe, Isaac Mizrahi, Erin Fetherston, and more. The show will be broadcast live from the Tents, and the on-air element means viewers will be able to buy fall 2010 products as soon as they hit the runway/airwaves, rupturing the pattern of delivery dates as they exist now. The rest of the designer collaborations will roll out in the days following: Twist by Christian Francis Roth on February 14, and Sterling by Pamella Roland on February 17. With designer collaborations and Fashion Week–related events, who does QVC think it is … Target?
