Marc Jacobs will stream his fall 2010 show live on his website February 15 at 8 p.m., which makes getting a seat just a tiny bit less special. Further democratizing the Fashion Week process, Jacobs’s business partner Robert Duffy just started tweeting to document Marc’s progress on the collection. He must be off to a rocky Twitter start, because according to WWD, he tweeted the below, which no longer shows up in his feed:
“Any ideas for a stage set for our fashion show? It’s at the armory on 27th Street. I’m stuck. No idea. Something minimal please? I have one week!”
Oh, so that’s how these things come together. WWD reports that this also appeared in Duffy’s feed, though it’s no longer up:
“Marc says hi! He loves that I’m doing this. He thinks I’ll be bored in two days. Let’s see.”
Duffy has been tweeting like a madman today, and even Twitpic-ing. You know someone has a serious relationship with Twitter when they start posting photos, as Duffy has of his co-worker (“we are trying to entertain each other”) and Marc, showing off his bicep while sketching. Before we know it, he’ll be posting videos of their arm-wrestling tournaments.
