Vogue’s Sally Singer was rumored to be a front-runner for Stefano Tonchi’s old job editing T. However, WWD reports that Singer is said to have turned down an offer from the Times in favor of Condé Nast’s lusher pastures. Insiders now expect the magazine to announce Anne Christensen, T’s women’s fashion director, as the new editor-in-chief. Christensen reportedly beat out Horacio Silva, T’s online director, for the job. T has been operating without an editor-in-chief for a month since Tonchi left for W.
