A friend of the Cut’s stopped by the Melissa Shoes sample sale this afternoon and made off with a free pair! The shopper wanted to purchase three pairs of shoes, including two $100 pairs from Vivienne Westwood’s Melissa collection and another $40 pair. She only had enough cash for two pairs, so the salespeople just gave her the $40 pair for free. “Oh crap, I don’t have enough cash.” “No worries! You can just have them.” How’s that for bargain shopping? Of course, we can’t guarantee such good fortune will befall you if you visit the sale between now and when it ends tomorrow.
