The iPad May Rob Fashion of Its Nipples

Apparently fashion magazines will have to be careful of nudity in their iPad-ready issues. Rumor has it that bare nipples, a common inclusion in European issues especially, will have to be censored so that the iPad mags don’t fall into what Apple and its users consider soft-core porn. Shiny Shiny reports:

A [Dazed & Confused] insider revealed that the mag’s iPad edition has been nicknamed the Iran edition by the people putting it together, given the parallels between censorship in the Muslim theocracy and the iTunes store.

This just shows how little Apple knows about fashion. Fashion is nothing without its nipples, its flashes of pubic hair, its bare asses. Without nipples, how is the iPad and the easy access it provides to European fashion magazines supposed to energize the world about fashion? A lot of people probably wouldn’t care about fashion if it weren’t for the nipples.
