Elle Hopefuls, Meet the Accessories Closet of Your Dreams

This week’s issue of Time Out New York (theme: careers) takes a close-up look at some of the sweetest gigs in New York City. There are behind-the-scenes pics and profiles on Gawker, MoMA, Dram, and Tumblr — the latter of which’d be sweet if for no other reason than to stare into dreamy CEO David Karp’s bedroom eyes. But we digress. It’s Elle magazine and its gah-inducing accessories closet FTW.

Now, if you’re a fan of The City, you’re probably already familiar with said closet and all the work Olivia Palermo doesn’t do in it. But for fashion aspirants, the photos and interviews with insiders like deputy editor Candice Rainey are still manna from heaven. Other perks for the 185 staffers that work at the 25-year-old mag? Semiannual beauty sales (proceeds go to charity), free entry to concerts and parties, and the ability to hang giant half-naked photos of pop stars above their desks without someone in HR going bananas. Let the two-week-notice writing begin!
