After she dared to wear mid-thigh shorts last summer, thereby unleashing shortsgate, which would land a five-minute segment on the Today show, Michelle Obama hasn’t been photographed in shorts yet this summer. But she was just spotted bike riding in Martha’s Vineyard in khaki shorts that covered every inch of thigh and maybe even some knee. In fact, maybe they’re not even shorts, but a capri pant-shorts hybrid. Or just capri pants that came over the knee when she sat down to ride her bike. But anyway, she’s definitely not getting caught in the middle of another heated debate over shorts morals.
