Reality-TV Stars Love Them Some Jill Stuart

It was a reality-TV mecca today at Jill Stuart. First to take his seat was Rachel Zoe assistant Brad Goreski, who was flying solo. “We’re not only looking for Oscar dresses,” he said. “We’re looking for party dresses and great cocktail dresses.” Duly noted. Next to arrive was New York socialite turned TV socialite Tinsley Mortimer, whom we congratulated on being named The Cut’s top model on Thursday after she walked in the Richie Rich show. “Thank you! So flattered! I love Richie, I’ve known him for years. I usually would close — be the end of the show — so it was fun to be the first one, to open it.” We’d imagine so.

America’s Next Top Model was also representing, with Noted Fashion Photographer Nigel Barker snapping pics with adoring moms and daughters, and Miss Jay Alexander, in sunglasses, posing with Roxy Olin from The City. We asked Miss Jay about Tyra Banks revealing that we wouldn’t be seeing him behind the judges’ table this season because he wanted to show off his legs. “It was a little more perverse than that when it came out of my mouth,” he said. “But that’s the clean version. You can see fashion from the waist down on me now.”

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian were able to sneak in with Scott Disick just before the show started, but not so successfully under the radar was Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szohr, who had a hoard of frenzied photographers swarming her as soon as she got to her seat. “This is crazy,” Entourage’s Perrey Reeves said to us. Do you watch Gossip Girl? we asked. “No, I live in Costa Rica; we don’t have a TV there.” Interesting strategy. Since we obviously like to watch, we waded through the masses of photographers to plug Szohr for hints about the new season, premiering Monday. “I can’t say anything!” she demurred. “I’ll get in trouble, I always do.”
