The first Barneys Co-op will (finally) bow in Brooklyn next Thursday, a 10,000-square-foot, loftlike space on Atlantic Avenue. The outpost has a modern, industrial feel, with a blackened steel and glass staircase connecting the two floors.
The launch of the new store also coincides with the 25th anniversary of the high-end chain. To celebrate, Barneys tapped 40 designers to each create an exclusive item, from a limited-edition Alexander Wang backpack in army-green leather to a cozy poncho from Loomstate. Click ahead for an early look at the anniversary wares.
