Despite being the daughter of Patti Hansen and Keith Richards, model Theodora Richards isn’t the kind of socialite who stocks up on heaps of very expensive home items. Last night at the celebration of the Hugo Boss prize, given out in conjunction with the Guggenheim Museum to honor innovation in contemporary art, Richards told us she doesn’t even have a lot of art. “I have yet to build on that collection. I don’t have that kind of money yet but hopefully one day when I have some sort of monopoly I’ll get there,” she said. “But I’ve collected bottle tops for a very long time. I was going to do something really giant like maybe a mirror frame but I never got around to it, so I’m still building. It’s massive.” Richards says she gets the caps from “drinking beer or soda pop — all of those things that have bottle tops.” Her artistic hobbies, she added, include drawing. “I think that I have some skills as an artist, but I don’t know if they’d want to collect me one day,” she confesses. Any non-artistic hobbies? “Hula-hooping. I’m a really good hula-hooper.”
