Bijules jewelry designer Jules Kim and model power publicist Lorenzo Martone launched the first collection of the swimwear line they make together called Nycked (pronounced “nicked”) this summer. Well, friends, non-models, YOU could have the chance to model this “lifestyle swimwear,” which is meant to be worn not only by the pool, but also out on dates, to the club, and on other occasions that don’t involve any swimming or bodies of water. They just sent out the announcement of an open casting call to model the forthcoming summer 2011 collection in the look book (the images from the look book will as serve as marketing material for the brand in various capacities).
These notes on the brand may help you prepare for the casting, taking place tomorrow:
NYCKED swimwear is born from the vivid energy of both Lorenzo Martone of ARC NEW YORK/Chandelier Creative and Jules Kim of Bijules. Hailing from Brazil and the American South, the two recognize the aspirational lifestyle of being a New Yorker as one overflowing with style, intrigue, elegance and intimacy.
If you want to bring your abundant style, intrigue, elegance, and intimacy to the casting, here’s everything you need to know. Non-models are welcome!
