Marie Claire Won an Award for Journalistic Excellence in Jewelry

At last night’s GEM Awards, presented by the Jewelry Information Center, Joanna Coles accepted Marie Claire’s award for journalistic excellence by reading a note from her husband. “Dear GEM Awards committee, seriously, you think my wife needs an award for her obsession with jewelry? For God’s sake, you’re enabling her. She doesn’t need an award, she needs an intervention.” [WWD]
