Kasia Struss and Natasha Poly made their first appearances this season, closing for last night’s Altuzarra and Alexander Wang shows, respectively. The ever-stylish Irina Lazareanu had a guest spot at Charlotte Ronson, walking the final look for the designer’s fall collection. And after a significant amount of pre-season buzz, newcomer Emily Baker closed the fall Jill Stuart collection. But last night’s winner was 20-year-old French model Aymeline Valade, who opened for Alexander Wang (the now New York equivalent of opening for Prada in Milan). Dutch model Mirte Maas, whose career was launched by Wang in spring 2010, told us, “Opening Alexander Wang in my first season played a big part in my success.
