Yesterday, in what may have been Jen Kao’s most impressive runway show yet, the designer exhibited her affinity for threading together several hot trends to create one seamless look. And while pairing a large ombré fur overcoat with a bright printed minidress, metallic tights, and super platforms may have done the job we endlessly aspire to do (shield off the men), it wasn’t until the Wild West took a walk down the dark runway that we rejoiced in certainty.
Sorry, though. In the fight between companionship and having our shins sway back and forth with every step we take, the latter will obviously win. Always.
