British designer Alistair Carr has left his post at Balenciaga, where he was head of design for the runway collection, to become the new design director at Pringle of Scotland. He fills the shoes of Claire Waight Keller, who left earlier this month after six years at the company. In addition to working at Balenciaga, Carr has also designed for Marni, Cacharel, Chloé, and his own signature label, which showed for three seasons at London fashion week. [WWD]
