The Telegraph’s Celia Walden interviewed Diane Von Furstenberg about her recently opened retrospective exhibit in Beijing, but naturally the conversation turned to other (perhaps more interesting?) topics. Like Von Furstenberg’s legs, and whether they helped with her career. “I had good legs and I loved showing them off,” said the designer, making an “impatient gesture” in the reporter’s direction. “Yes, I used the aspects of being a woman to my advantage, but I worked for myself, not a big corporation, so I was lucky to have the freedom to behave however I liked.”
